Reviews of Sebastian Silva's new movie are all over the place, which isn't hard to believe when you learn that the script, which didn't mature past rough outline form, takes a sharp turn out of the comedy genre in its third act and becomes a violent and ambiguous meditation on more than mere parenthood. Silva cast himself in a lead role and of course Wiig gets most of the press, but the narrative hinges upon the character "The Bishop" who is played by Reg E. Cathey of "House of Cards" fame.

The Martian is a 2015 American science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Matt Damon. The film is based on Andy Weir's 2011 novel The Martian, which was adapted into a screenplay by Drew Goddard. Damon stars as an astronaut who is mistakenly presumed dead and left behind on Mars, and who then fights to survive. The film also features Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Michael Peña, Kate Mara, Sean Bean, Sebastian Stan, Aksel Hennie, and Chiwetel Ejiofor in supporting roles.
Producer Simon Kinberg began developing the film after 20th Century Fox optioned the novel in March 2013. Drew Goddard adapted the novel into a screenplay and was initially attached to direct, but the film did not move forward. Scott replaced Goddard, and with Damon in place as the main character, production was green-lit. Filming began in November 2014 and lasted approximately 70 days. Around 20 sets were built on a sound stage in Budapest, Hungary, one of the largest in the world. Wadi Rum in Jordan was also used as a practical backdrop for filming.
The film premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2015. 20th Century Fox released the film in theaters in the United Kingdom on September 30, 2015, and in the United States on October 2, 2015. The film was released in 2D, 3D, IMAX and 4D.

The Loft is a 2014 American-Belgian thriller film directed by Erik Van Looy. It is a remake of the 2008 Dutch-language Belgian film Loft, which was also directed by Van Looy. The script was written by Bart De Pauw and adapted by Wesley Strick. Starring Karl Urban and James Marsden, the remake also features Matthias Schoenaerts reprising his role from the original film.

The film was shot in Summer 2011, but its theatrical release was delayed by a change of the film distributor. Dark Castle Entertainment originally acquired the US distribution rights with the intention of releasing the film through Warner Bros. When Joel Silver moved his office to Universal, he took Dark Castle, and the film with him. Universal planned to release the film on August 29, 2014, but the studio pulled it from the schedule in favor of As Above, So Below. The distribution rights transferred from Dark Castle to Open Road Films, who released the film on January 30, 2015.

Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the titular character, along with newcomers Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, Lee Byung-hun, and J. K. Simmons. The film is scheduled to be released by Paramount Pictures on July 1, 2015. In addition to opening in regular theatres, it will also be shown in IMAX.

Run All Night is a 2015 American action thriller film written by Brad Ingelsby and directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. The film stars Liam Neeson, Joel Kinnaman, Common, and Ed Harris. The film was released on March 13, 2015.

The Buzz: Liam Neeson acts tough and beats up bad guys - haven't we seen this before? Many, many times. So why am I excited about Run All Night?
First, the movies reunites Neeson with the director of Non-Stop and Unknown, both of which are solidly entertaining entries in his recent action movie portfolio. Second, this one is rated R, which will allow Neeson to really let loose on the movie's gangster baddies; two of his best movies in recent memory are The Grey and A Walk Among the Tombstones, both of which were also rated R.
The movie also has a really strong supporting cast. It's going to be exciting to see Neeson face off against Ed Harris, who is probably his most interesting nemesis in quite some time. I also think Joel Kinnaman has the goods - he's top notch in "The Killing" - but RoboCop didn't really let him flex his acting muscles that much. Here's hoping that Run All Night is the right showcase for his talents.
