Room 237 this 2012-documentary, directed by Rodney Ascher about the perceived meanings of the shining by Stanley Kubrick. the film contains footage from Kubrick's film the shining, etc., as well as a number of enthusiasts of Kubrick. The film has nine segments, each segment focuses on the various elements of the film "the hidden tips for discovery and specify a greater thematic body of work." the film was produced by Tim Kirk.
The film was in the directors ' Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival in the year 2012 and shows the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
The distribution rights for the movie were purchased the theatre and IFC midnight and VOD on March 29, 2013.
March 27, 2013 published an article the previous Kubrick's Assistant, who scoffs at the New York Times and explicitly requires shines in this documentary, in almost all matters of interpretation.
